Agreement to Terms
Welcome to MacDash. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our machine shop management software, services, and website (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts to use our Services. By using MacDash, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
Account Registration
To access certain features of our Services, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. MacDash is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.
Subscription Plans and Billing
Subscription Plans
MacDash offers multiple subscription plans: Basic, Pro, and Premium. Each plan includes different features and support levels as described on our pricing page. You may choose between annual and monthly billing cycles.
Payment Terms
- Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis
- Annual subscriptions are billed once per year
- Monthly subscriptions are billed on a month-to-month basis
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- You authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account
Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify our pricing. For existing subscriptions, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect. Your continued use of the Services after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Cancellation and Termination
Your Rights
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@macdash.co. Upon cancellation:
- Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period
- You will not receive a refund for any unused portion of your subscription
- Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation
- After 30 days, your data may be permanently deleted
Our Rights
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your payment method fails or you fail to pay fees when due
- Your use of the Services poses a security risk
- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- We discontinue the Services (with reasonable notice)
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services
- Reverse engineer or decompile our software
- Use the Services for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
- Resell or redistribute the Services without authorization
- Scrape, copy, or extract data using automated means
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Intellectual Property

MacDash and its Services, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and other content, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our intellectual property without our express written permission.
Your Rights
You retain all rights to the data and content you submit to the Services ("Your Content"). By using the Services, you grant us a limited license to use, store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Services to you.
Data and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and disclosure of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our Services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content complies with applicable privacy laws and that you have obtained all necessary consents for any personal information you submit to the Services.
Service Availability and Support
We strive to maintain high availability of our Services, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or due to factors beyond our control.
Support is provided according to your subscription plan. Basic plan users receive email support, while Pro and Premium plans include varying levels of development support as specified in the plan details.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or availability
- Warranties that the Services will meet your requirements
- Warranties that the Services will be error-free or secure
You use the Services at your own risk. We do not warrant that the Services will be compatible with all hardware and software.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MACDASH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Services
- Any damages exceeding the amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MacDash, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MacDash operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Arbitration
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court. You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MacDash regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
